Undulating Bent Grass Greens built to USGA specifications. Soft cushions of local Bermuda fairways. Lush unyielding forests-hundreds of years old.

Winding streams. Wandering hills and valleys opening to a holy river's plain. Cynical monkeys watching your progress. Shy spotted deer peering from the trees. The lofty Himalayas keeping score. Truly enchanting. On your left, wander through the Highlights of all 6,715 yards of this magical par 72 golf course.

Royal Nepal Golf Club

Originally called the Gauchar Golf Club, Royal Nepal Golf Club is the oldest course in the kingdom of Nepal and possibly one of the oldest golf clubs in the region. Established in 1917, the club was given royal patronage by His late Majesty King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in 1965.During its long history, many members of the Royal family and visiting foreign dignities have graced the club.

The club has a very challenging 9-hole golf course, which organizes over 26 golf tournaments annually, including His Majesty's Birthday Cup and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Birthday Cup and held the first ever Nepal Open Golf Tournament for professionals of the region for 6 years.

All the professionals described the course as highly challenging but fair golf course with a fantastic view of the Himalayas located next to the international airport and only 10 minutes drive from the center of the city, it enjoys a panoramic view of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal and other majestic mountains of Nepal.

The club has recently built a large modern clubhouse with grand view of the mountains and the course. It boasts of a very spacious restaurant and bar with wide selection of food and beverages at the most reasonable prices.

The club is a social institution run by members. All of the members are from renowned businesses and social standing, including one of the Mt. Everest summiteers, Mr. Ang Norbu Sherpa, who ascended the highest peak in the world during the 50th anniversary in 2003. For golfers who are visiting Nepal, for business or pleasure, playing at Royal Nepal Golf Club is a must. You will not be disappointed!

Yeti Golf Course At Fulbari Resort and Spa

The Yeti's Golf course is perched on the brink of a Green Canyon gorges overlooking a most unusual riverscape of terraces and steeply forested bank of the River Seti flowing 300 ft. below. The area is tranquil, the views of the Himalayas to the north, and the Seti River far below, makes golfing here a very unusual experience.

Although it is only a 9 holes course, the use of alternate tees, greens, and pin positions, gives the golfers the feeling of playing a full 18-hole layout. One needs 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish the first round of the holes. It's quite difficult because of the deliberate small greens, narrow fairways and closed out-of bound (O/B) fenced with surrounding water ponds. A number of the tee shots across the Seti Gorge is mentally challenging even to the best golfers.

The course is playable throughout the year and has a clubhouse with coffee shop and bar, and a small pro-shop selling golf amenity. Club membership for local and overseas golfers is also available. Membership of the club allows discounts, also for spouses and guests, at other facilities and outlets in the resort. The club also offers special value added golf packages, which can be enjoyed year round.
