Nepal Tourism Board’s (NTB) Director Mr. Mani Raj Lamichhane has expressed his happiness over this news. He further stated that this news will have a positive
effect on Nepal’s tourism which is improving after the COVID-19 pandemic. Another good news for tourism in Nepal is the huge inflow of tourists in the year 2023.
According to NTB statistics, 10,14,882 foreign tourists visited Nepal in 2023.
Similarly, Nepal’s Mustang has been listed in the New York Times ‘52 Places to Go in 2024’. Earlier in 2023, CNN Travel listed Mustang as a 23-Must Visit Destination
in the World.
