Special Visa-free policy applicable from Nepal to Tibet
Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce that this special Visa-free policy applies to travelers traveling from Nepal to Tibet. It is more convenient for travelers allowing them hassle-free and budget-friendly travel as it removes the separate Tibet Visa requirement. However, travelers are required to arrange for permits such as Tibet Entry and road Permits in advance from both Nepal and mainland China cities.
Just a quick fact: Kathmandu (Nepal) is the only nation operating direct international flights to Lhasa (Tibet) besides mainland China cities (Beijing/Shanghai/Xian/etc.).
