Nepal is believed as the country rich in hydroelectricity power, which is 2nd after Brazil, if Nepal used all river sources being a high Himalayan mountains country, but due to minimum potential use of the rivers and dam, with large population with villages, cities and towns in dry season it is not enough to supply the power for 24 hours, so load shedding or power cuts are normal in certain hours of day and nighttimes.
However all electric supply as per international standard of AC 1000 kiloWatts and 120 volts, for plugging system are normal plugs to recharge your cell phone or laptops, but it is important to have multiplug system as well.
