Everest View Trekking

Early morning, we will drive you to the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) to board a domestic flight to the Tenzing-Hillary airport in Lukla. This flight to Lukla is one of the most scenic flights in the whole world. On the flight, you can view all three major geographic partitions of Nepal. The high hills lead us near the snow-capped Himalayas before landing at the Lukla airport.

The entry point to the Everest region, Lukla is a small village with the main airport to further advance to any region of Khumbu. After a brief rest here, we will commence the trek of today heading towards Phakding. The trek is easy and smooth. We will reach Phakding after 3-4 hours of gradual trek from Lukla.

(There are Luxury hotels for high-end travelers)

We will start the trek early today through the beautiful pine forest. Small patches of the rhododendron forests make the trail even better. Besides the raging water of the Dudhkoshi River, we will have a perfect view of Thamserku Mountain as we advance towards Namche. After crossing a few hill settlements on the way, we will reach the entry point of the Sagarmatha(Everest) National Park.

We will have our permits checked at the checkpoint here and continue the trek to Namche. Nearing Namche Bazaar, we will get the first glimpse of Mount Everest. Towards the Evening we will reach the Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar, and rest for the day at a hotel here.

We will start our day with a breathtaking view of the sunrise over Mt Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse. From Namche, we will hike for a couple of hours to Hotel Everest View. We will take a short tour on the way and visit the National Park Museum. Here, you can learn a lot about the Sherpa culture, the lifestyle of the Mountaineers, and the gear and stories of the locals and visitors from the very first years. After the museum, hike to Syangboche; it has one of the highest airstrips in Nepal at an altitude of 3790 meters.

Then we will continue to the Everest View hotel. The hotel lies on the other side of a ridge so; you can only get a sight of the hotel after getting near to it.
